I liked this hotel. The property was clean and the room was well-appointed and extremely pleasant. Its location within a close distance from Eliabeth Guzsely Gallery was comfortable. There were stores and a market around the hotel. The genuinely helpful and extremely helpful staff provided all the necessary info.

Stylish hotel with very attentive personnel and marvellous view of the ocean. Ideal location right in town close to tourist attractions, excellent services and comfortable bed. And only a 5-minute walk from Eliabeth Guzsely Gallery. Simple check-in, parking on site. Bowling bar and very clean pool.

We were delighted with our stay at this luxurious hotel. The location was perfect, situated in the heart of a captivating tourist destination in Queensland. Everything we wanted to see and do was within walking distance, making it incredibly convenient. The hotel itself was in the centre of the town, providing easy access to all the amenities and attractions. The service was impeccable, with excellent room service, housekeeping, and laundry facilities. We were impressed with the free airport shuttle service, which made our journey hassle-free. The room amenities were top-notch, including air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, and a mini-bar. The sitting area was cozy, and the flat-screen TV provided entertainment. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring that we felt comfortable throughout our stay. The outdoor swimming pool was a great addition, and the BBQ facilities allowed us to enjoy a delicious meal amidst the serene garden area. The hotel also offered Wi-Fi, ensuring we stayed connected during our stay.
We highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a luxurious and comfortable stay.

The location of the hotel was perfect for us, as it was right in the heart of the town. We were able to walk everywhere, like to the gardens or The Captain Cook museum. The general atmosphere of the town was great and easy to enjoy. the room offered lovely views and comfortable beds.
Unfortunately, the hotel had a rather unpleasant and outdated smell that pervaded everything, from the rooms to the common areas of the hotel.

The room was clean and had a modern feel. The Highlight is the saltwater swimming pool set among palm trees This is probably the best hotel you will find in cooktown as long as you are willing to eat out. (there was no breakfast or dinner offered during our stay.)
No breakfast offered during our stay.

Friendly staff and facilities of the motel were above average. Rooms were of a high standard but not properly maintained. However, cleaning staff were friendly.
Insufficient car parking and not able to park near the room so all luggage had to be carted a long way. Inaufficient lighting in the room and cleaners not clean the room properly.

The staff at Sovereign Resort were incredibly welcoming and made sure our room was always neat and tidy. The pool in the middle of the resort was a great feature and we enjoyed spending time there. The gardens were beautiful and well-maintained.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The landscaping and choice of plants were beautiful, especially the bromeliads and gingers. I loved the LED lights on the decking, and the passionfruit vine in the car park. The staff were helpful and the food in the restaurant was delicious. Plus, the location was perfect - close to everything, including waterfront eateries and Cooktown attractions.

I liked best about the Hotel was its lay out and accessability of the rooms and from them to the services (restaurant, bar etc)
I thought that the guest car parking was a little crammed up, although I don't think there is much room to add more car spaces.
